A July to remember in Washington DC with a contingency of farm and landowners representing the voice of rural communities at the American Forest Foundation Legislative Fly-In. We visited the offices of our Tennessee elected officials, Marsha Blackburn, David Kustoff, Scott DesJarlais, Rep John Rose, Senator Bill Hagerty to share thoughts about the Farm Bill and other forest related topics. Concluded the trip with a visit to the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture.
