Thanks to Humanities TN, we partnered with numerous collaborators to capture the stories of TN Black Farm and Garden Owners.

In 2024 we prepared to start traveling across the state of Tennessee to help the Moore Flatwoods Museum collaborate with numerous farmers, scholars, artists, builders, and curators to capture the stories of TN Black Farm and Garden Owners through conversation, audio, art, architecture, video, music, timelines, and photography.

We will continue to collect and showcase our stories along a permanent indoor and outdoor exhibition trail at the Moore Farm.

Deepest gratitude to TN Black Farmers Coalition, National Alliance of Pan African Seminarians-Ms. Tranae Chatman and Rev. Renee, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Dr. Monica White, Odeania Films, MTSU Center for Historic Preservation, West TN Delta Heritage Center, Federation of Southern Cooperatives, Tennessee State Museum, and Tennessee State University New Farmer Academy.
