We appreciate all for attending and participating in the Annual Homecoming Ancestor Day on the grounds of the Moore Chapel Cemetery on October 5, 2024. We honored about 184 ancestors with storytelling, pouring libation, drumming, calling their names, reading historical panels, a military salute, releasing balloons, fellowship, and great soul food. Their presence was felt by the crowd reaching upwards of 100. Attendees said they were deeply moved by the beautiful tributes. Rob

SHARING an update about the restoration of the Moore Chapel Cemetery in Holladay, Tennessee maintained by the descendants of John Henry and Inez Moore and ASKING for your help in contacting any unknown family members who may still be alive who are related to the loved ones buried in the cemetery.
